Myles Manning
Professional Drummer, Bassist & Music Producer

About Your Instructor
With over 20 years of experience as a professional musician and educator, Myles Manning brings real-world expertise and genuine passion to every lesson. Myles studied at Berklee College of Music, where his coursework spanned music business, education, ear training, drum and bass ensembles, and music engineering, a foundation that directly informs the way he teaches today.
Since 2013, Myles has been an instructor at Renaissance Youth Center in the Bronx, teaching drum and bass through the Music on Wheels program; an outreach initiative that brings music education into schools without their own programs, as well as weekly Saturday classes for kids and teens at the beginner to intermediate level. His experience ranged from one-on-one mentoring to classes of 15 students. He also performed as a member of Music With a Message (MWAM), Renaissance's touring youth band, hitting stages like Yankee Stadium and touring across the East Coast.
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level, Myles creates a supportive environment where students of all ages can thrive. Having spent over a decade watching young people discover what they're capable of, especially in those moments when something finally clicks, he knows firsthand that music has the power to change lives.
